Trapani Shark fined €50,000 by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP)

Trapani Shark faces a €50,000 fine. At the heart of the matter is the departure of Timmy Allen and the failure to register another player.

The National Sports Judge,

having taken note of the note dated 12-12-2025 from the Serie A Basketball League – responsible for monitoring athlete contracts under Article 13.4, paragraph 5 of the DOA – to the Italian Basketball Federation, for having filed 11 athlete contracts, despite having opted for the 6+6 formula referred to in Article 13.4 of the DOA [Article 13.4, paragraphs 3 and 4 DOA]
