Trabzonspor have reached an agreement with Isaiah Canaan, a 1991-born, 1.83-meter scoring guard with extensive NBA and EuroLeague experience, Basketfaul reports.
The deal will become official once Canaan passes his medical examination, an important step after the serious injury he suffered last season. He returned to action toward the end of the campaign.
235 NBA GAMES
Houston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Phoenix, Minnesota and Milwaukee were his NBA teams between 2013 and 2019.
Canaan played 235 NBA games between 2013 and 2019, averaging 8.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 20.4 minutes per game.
During his NBA career, he represented the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks.
FOUR EUROLEAGUE SEASONS
Canaan moved to Europe in 2019 and eventually established himself as a EuroLeague player.
After leaving the NBA, Canaan continued his career in Europe, playing for UNICS Kazan and Galatasaray before joining Olympiacos and Crvena zvezda.
He spent a total of four seasons in the EuroLeague with the two clubs.
