The Toronto Raptors have announced that Kyle Lowry’s No. 7 jersey will be retired on January 10, 2027, following their game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He will become the second player in franchise history to receive the honor after Vince Carter.
Lowry spent nine seasons in Toronto, helping the Raptors reach the playoffs seven times and win their first NBA championship in 2019. The six-time All-Star remains the franchise’s all-time leader in assists, steals and three-pointers made.
“I’ve waited for this moment for years. Toronto is home, and seeing my No. 7 go up in that arena will mean everything to me,” Lowry said. The ceremony will complete a series of three “GROAT Nights” celebrating the player known as the Greatest Raptor Of All Time.
