Bobby Webster will be the new Head of Basketball Operations for the Toronto Raptors

Shams Charania of ESPN reports that the Toronto Raptors have identified Bobby Webster as their new Head of Basketball Operations.

Webster will also retain his role as GM and will take over the position previously held by Masai Ujiri, the architect of the 2019 NBA title.

Part of the franchise since 2013, Webster has risen through the ranks within the Raptors organization and has also served as Vice President. Now, he will be tasked with relaunching Toronto after a disappointing season—the third in a row without a playoff appearance—that ended with a 30-52 record.
