Le Progrès reports the club president could replace Pierric Poupet, whose deal expires this summer

According to Le Progrès, Tony Parker is expected to become the next head coach of his own club, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, starting next season, replacing current coach Pierric Poupet.

Poupet’s contract is reportedly set to expire this summer, with ASVEL preparing a coaching change that would see Parker step into the lead role on the bench.

Parker is also scheduled to make his head-coaching debut this summer with the France U17 national team, which has qualified for the 2026 World Cup in Turkey, and he reportedly spent a week with the New York Knicks this season to gain experience under Mike Brown.
