Tomas Satoransky appointed as Czech Republic flag bearer at Tokyo 2020

Bulls guard becomes the latest Basketball player to be honored as a Tokyo 2020 flag bearer

Chicago Bulls and Czech Republic guard Tomas Satoransky has been appointed as Czech Republic flag bearer for tomorrow’s Tokyo 2020 opening ceremony. Satoransky, who shined in Victoria OQT leading the Czechs to an historic Olympic qualification, will serve as flag bearer alongside two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova.

Satoransky becomes the eight basketball player to be a flag bearer at this Olympics after Australia’s Patty Mills, Canada’s Miranda Ayim, Iran’s Samad Nikkhah Bahrami, Japan’s Rio Hachimura, Latvia’s (3×3) Agnis Čavars, Mongolia’s (3×3) Khulan Onolbaatar and Serbia’s Sonja Vasic
