Lewis is making his European debut after spending two seasons in the NBA

Tofaş Bursa has announced the signing of two significant additions to its roster: swingman Maxwell Lewis and power forward Isaiah Whaley.

Lewis, selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 40th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, is making his European debut after spending two seasons in the NBA — mostly with the Lakers and briefly with the Brooklyn Nets at the end of last season.

Whaley joins the Turkish side following a solid year with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia, where he averaged 7.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 20 minutes per game.
