Tobias Harris will miss the entire San Antonio Spurs preseason because of a left calf strain. His status for the October 20 season opener against Oklahoma City is currently uncertain.
According to ESPN’s Michael C. Wright, Harris suffered the injury during training camp and will be reevaluated after the preseason. He also sat out Sunday’s intrasquad scrimmage.
The 34-year-old signed a two-year, $31 million deal with San Antonio this summer and was expected to start. He averaged 13.5 points and 5.6 rebounds last season with Detroit.
