TMZ Sports has released footage in which Kelly Oubre Jr. can be seen minutes after being hit by a vehicle over the weekend. In the video, the Philadelphia 76ers winger can be seen limping back to his flat.
In the accident Kelly Oubre Jr. suffered a fractured rib and hip and leg injuries after a silver car hit him with a rear-view mirror.
According to TMZ, Oubre returned home shortly after the accident, and when his wife saw him in serious pain, she called 911.
According to our sources, a couple of hours after the accident, officers questioned Oubre to obtain information about what had happened. At the time, Oubre had stated that the incident had occurred at 15th and Spruce Street, but investigators found no surveillance video to support the claim.
This could be the result of two factors: the player was on medication at the time of questioning, and he knows little about the city, having recently signed with the 76ers.
