Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is nearing a move to Real Madrid. According to BasketNews, the French forward is leaning toward joining the Spanish club after emerging as one of the most sought-after free agents on the EuroLeague market.
The 31-year-old is coming off the best season of his professional career with Baskonia. In EuroLeague, he averaged 18.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 25 minutes per game, shooting 55% from two, 41% from three and 90% from the free-throw line.
Luwawu-Cabarrot finished fourth in EuroLeague scoring and 13th in PIR, while also helping Baskonia win the 2026 Copa del Rey. Against Real Madrid, his expected next club, he scored 26 points in Baskonia’s 98-96 win.
