Denver Nuggets GM Tim Connelly hopes that Paul Millsap will remain for the rest of his career in Denver.
“I would love to see Paul retire in a Nuggets jersey,” Connelly said on Altitude on Wednesday morning. “What he brought to this team and this city has been pretty special.”
“I don’t think we could’ve asked for anything more in terms of where we are,” Connelly said. “He taught us so much about winning and how to get to this point.”
The veteran forward will be an unrestricted Free Agent after this season.
This year the 4-time All Star averaged 11.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in regular season, and 8 points plus 4.7 rebounds in the Playoffs.
