Jalen Williams will undergo an MRI after leaving Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals

Jalen Williams will undergo an MRI after leaving Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.

The Thunder wing exited in the first quarter of Oklahoma City’s 122-113 win, receiving treatment on his left hamstring before heading to the locker room. The team later announced he would not return due to left hamstring tightness.

Williams had just returned in Game 1 after missing six games with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. Coach Mark Daigneault said the player will be checked by the medical staff.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander admitted the impact of a possible absence: “If we don’t have him, it hurts.” The series is now tied 1-1, but OKC is waiting for key updates on one of its most important players.
