According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies are in discussions with the Oklahoma City Thunder about expanding their Andre Iguodala trade into a three-team deal involving Danilo Gallinari.
The Heat have concurrently pursued a trade for Gallinari in addition to Iguodala, while Memphis is currently slated to receive Justise Winslow as part of the package for Iguodala.
Gallinari is on an expiring contract and it is unclear how he fits into the long-term plans of the Thunder should they keep him beyond the deadline. The Thunder already own Miami’s 2023 first round pick, which is protected in the top-14. As part of this deal, Oklahoma City is trying to get Miami to lift the protection.
