The visitors had briefly dreamed of a win after Marko Simonovic’s go-ahead dunk with 8 seconds left. For Gran Canaria, Nico Brussino led with 18 points, while Mike Tobey added 11 points and 8 rebounds. For Bahcesehir, Furkan Korkmaz scored 12, and Simonovic and Ponitka had 10 each.
Game 3s will be played on April 2, in Valencia and Istanbul.
