The regular season opens earlier than ever, on Thursday, September 30, less than 12 weeks from now, so it’s a good time to plan how you will enjoy 34 rounds of the most dramatic basketball that any fan can wish for.

Soon after all 18 teams get rolling, the first of seven double-round weeks next season will come in Rounds 3 and 4 between Tuesday, October 12 and Friday, October 15. ALBA Berlin, CSKA Moscow, Real Madrid, Milan and ASVEL will each play two home games within 72 hours, and then October ends with a second double-round week for a total of seven games per team before the start of November.

Due to the fact that October, with seven rounds, and December, with six, are the two busiest months of the regular season, there are 18 of 34 regular season rounds scheduled before the end of the calendar year. Apart from those two months, however, the fixtures are equally spread out during the other months of the season, including February, which has a traditional week off due to domestic cup competitions, but still has four scheduled rounds.

The regular season is due to finish on April 8, 2022, when the top eight teams in the standings will be advancing to the best-of-five playoff series.

To reach the promise land, however, teams must first face 34 games of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season where every basket of every game matters.
