The future of Talen Horton-Tucker is close to being decided. After six years in the NBA with the Lakers, Jazz, and Bulls, the 24-year-old guard is on the verge of a first European experience. According to SDNA, Fenerbahce Istanbul, the reigning EuroLeague champions, lead the race if no NBA offer convinces him.
Despite a reduced role last season in Chicago, Horton-Tucker flashed his talent in April (13.3 points per game), drawing interest from Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes. Both clubs pushed hard, but Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team remains in pole position.
With his mix of strength and creativity, Horton-Tucker could become a key piece in Fenerbahce’s backcourt. The countdown is on: NBA or Fenerbahce, a final decision is expected soon.
