Vasilije Micić has finally taken part in a Serbia practice session. The serbian superstar, who had missed the entire training camp due to injury, was seen working out ahead of the friendly against Slovenia.
Head coach Svetislav Pešić commented: “He trained well and had no setbacks. Each day is important to assess how he feels. He might play a few minutes, but we need to be cautious. He’s shown great commitment and desire to return, but not everything is in his control.”
Pešić also confirmed that the final roster for Riga will be announced on Sunday, just before the team’s departure. “We are preparing in silence, but if we know what we want, we’ll achieve it,” the coach concluded.
