This is an unexpected turning point, especially considering that the registration deadline is tonight at midnight. Here is what BresciaOggi writes about the matter:
“It is a summer of plot twists at Germani Brescia: following the overhaul of the board of directors, today the club from San Zeno sul Naviglio submitted a ‘last-minute’ registration application for next season’s Champions League (the final deadline being midnight tonight). A surprise move, considering that Germani had repeatedly hinted at a lack of interest in European competitions. This situation may also alter transfer market prospects, given that up until now Coach Matteo Cotelli had hit a real brick wall when seeking high-level players, who are more drawn to the continental stage rather than just the domestic competition.”
