Surne Bilbao Basket has announced the signing of Jiahao Yu, a 22-year-old Chinese center, on a contract running through 2028.
Yu averaged 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 0.9 blocks last season in the CBA with Zhejiang Chouzhou, and was named CBA Rookie of the Year in 2022.
Standing at 221 cm, Yu also spent time at Sierra Canyon in high school, where he was teammates with Bronny James. He is expected to play next season on loan at Torrelavega.
