Jamaree Bouyea secured his spot on the group that will start the regular season
With the start of the NBA season fast approaching, franchises are working to finalize their rosters.
The Phoenix Suns have waived Haywood Highsmith, while Jamaree Bouyea appears to have secured his spot on the team, despite being the only one of the 14 players on the roster without a guaranteed contract.
Highsmith is back on the market after appearing in seven games for Phoenix last season.
It remains unclear whether the former Miami Heat forward would consider offers from European clubs.
Los Angeles is looking to trade the young forward rather than waive him outright. His future with the Lakers appears increasingly uncertain.
