Steve Kerr believes Draymond Green will have to adjust to the Golden State Warriors’ changing rotation. “He’s going to have to adapt a little bit, and it’s probably going to be a little frustrating at times,” Kerr said on the Tom Tolbert Show.
With Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody expected to miss much of the first half of the season, Yaxel Lendeborg, Gui Santos and Brandin Podziemski could receive expanded roles. Kerr believes Golden State’s depth can help the team manage those absences.
Green’s response could also affect his future with the franchise. Marcus Thompson II has suggested that the four-time NBA champion could emerge as a trade candidate before the deadline if the Warriors make a poor start.
