Steve Kerr says he never viewed the possibility of LeBron James joining the Golden State Warriors as particularly realistic.
“I didn’t even think we were realistically in the running for LeBron. It’s just that everyone kept saying we were,” Kerr told ESPN.
“It never seemed serious to me despite all the reports,” he added. James ultimately joined the Philadelphia 76ers, leaving Golden State without the superstar addition that had been discussed alongside Stephen Curry.
