Zalgiris Kaunas has reached an agreement with Partizan Belgrade on the buyout needed to bring guard Sterling Brown to Lithuania.
The 31-year-old former SMU standout was still under contract with the Serbian club for another season, but the two teams have now reportedly finalized the terms of his departure. Brown is coming off a strong EuroLeague campaign in which he averaged 13.7 points, 2.3 assists, and shot 39% from three-point range.
According to Meridian Sport, the official announcement is expected in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Zalgiris has also confirmed several departures as the club continues to reshape its roster for the upcoming season. Center Moses Wright is set to join Barcelona, while forward Ignas Brazdeikis and big man Laurynas Birutis will also leave the Lithuanian powerhouse.
