Barcelona has reportedly identified Stanley Umude as its top target to reinforce the wing position. The 27-year-old American is currently a free agent after his NBA contract expired and could be set for his first European experience.
According to BasketNews, Barcelona is leading the race to sign Umude following unsuccessful pursuits of Isaac Bonga and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot. The Catalan club has also seen the deal for Moses Wright collapse, while uncertainty remains over the future of Tornike Shengelia.
During the 2024-25 G League season, Umude averaged 17.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, showcasing his athleticism and scoring ability.
