Stanley Johnson has left Anadolu Efes Istanbul to sign with the South Bay Lakers, the G-League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers. The move came through a trade with Rip City Remix, who received the returning player rights to Devonte’ Graham, Vincent Valerio-Bodon, and a 2026 second-round draft pick.
The 28-year-old played 17 EuroLeague games with Efes, averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds. Drafted 8th overall in 2015 by the Detroit Pistons, Johnson has appeared in 449 NBA games with the Pistons, Pelicans, Raptors, Lakers, and Spurs, averaging 6.2 points and 3.1 rebounds.
