After the defeat against Team USA in Tokyo 2020, Pau and Marc Gasol have announced their retirement from the Spanish national team.
The two brothers, respectively 41 and 36 years old, have won 20 medals with the Spanish NT, 11 for Pau and 9 for Marc.
Pau: “Too bad it ends like this, but this is not measured by the last game, but by these twenty years. I feel very fortunate for everything I have experienced with the NT”
Marc confirmed that he will return to the NBA to play next season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
