The South Sudan Basketball Federation has announced the first roster of 25 players for training camp in preparation for the 2024 Olympics.

The South Sudan Basketball Federation has announced its first 25-man training camp roster in preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games. The roster is headlined by NBA talents Bol Bol and Thon Maker, who will be making their international debuts for their home country ahead of South Sudan’s historic first Olympic campaign.

In addition to the two aforementioned players, the team will also feature 150-game NBA veteran Wenyen Gabriel, 2023 NBA G-League MVP Carlik Jones, and Khaman Maluach, a Duke standout and top prospect in the 2025 NBA Draft.

South Sudan will join Team USA, Serbia and the winner of the Puerto Rico Pre-Olympic, a tournament that will also feature Gianmarco Pozzecco’s Italy.
