CJ McCollum and Kelly Olynyk head to Washington, Poole and Bey to New Orleans

The New Orleans Pelicans have acquired Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey, and the No. 40 pick in a deal with the Washington Wizards, who receive CJ McCollum, Kelly Olynyk, and a future second-rounder.

Poole averaged 20.5 points last season and will bring scoring to a younger Pelicans core. McCollum gives the Wizards a veteran with an expiring contract and opens up future financial flexibility.

Washington now holds the 6th, 18th, and 40th picks in the NBA Draft, while New Orleans keeps picks 7 and 23, boosting their youth movement.
