In an interview with Israeli Hayom, Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis has admitted that he is seriously consider to retire and to start working in the development of young players.
“I probably won’t continue to play anymore. The last season ended early, so I had a lot of time to think and adjust to the new situation. I’m still thinking about it but I probably won’t play anymore. I had a 20-year career, so I’m fine with that. I would love to work with young players. There is a lot of talent in Greece, and I want to be the one to help promote and develop them. I believe I will find work in it”, he said.
