Simone Fontecchio shared his satisfaction with the way the new NBA season has begun for him in a Miami Heat jersey:

“With this offense, thanks to the rhythm and spacing we create, I can play on instinct — everything happens so fast, and I trust my decisions and my shots. Recently, as a team, we’ve set a goal: to finish defensive possessions with a rebound and not give up second chances. I think that can make the difference in such long and tough games.”

The Italian forward is averaging 12.8 points in 20 minutes, shooting 61% from the field, 50% from three, and 66% from the line, with an even balance between steals and turnovers.

“I feel good. I feel Spoelstra’s trust, as well as my teammates’, and I’m happy with the way I can make an impact every time I’m called upon. On this team, everyone knows they can contribute.”
