Olimpia Milano has won the City of Cagliari tournament for the third time, defeating Dinamo Sassari with a final score of 83-63.
The game was never in doubt, with Messina’s team leading by as much as 31 points after a 33-12 second quarter.
Alex Poythress scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Shavon Shields and Devon Hall each added 14 points. Nikola Mirotic contributed 12 points. Notably, Caruso had 5 points with 7 rebounds, and Kevin Pangos had 5 points with 12 assists.
Sassari, struggling against Milan’s strong lineup featuring Mirotic at the “3” position, received 14 points from Treier, 13 from Gomauld, and 12 from Whittaker and Diop.
