On Saturday evening, Napier signed a two-year contract with the Red and Whites, representing a significant reinforcement for Crvena Zvezda in the upcoming season.
Napier has considerable NBA experience; as a student at the University of Connecticut, he played in the NBA for teams such as Miami, Orlando, Portland, Brooklyn, Minnesota, and Washington.
In Europe, he played for teams like Zenit and Armani, from where he joins Crvena Zvezda after an excellent season.
The new point guard brings a lot to the Crvena Zvezda team: on-court creation, points, assists, and vast experience and quality.
Shabazz Napier was born in Boston on July 14, 1991, stands 183 centimeters tall, and is the eighth addition to the Red and Whites for the new season, following Davidovac, Simonović, Teodosić, Hange, Tobias, Bolomboy, and Giedraitis.
