Sergio Scariolo has urged BC Roma to move forward patiently. “We are like a newborn that still has to learn how to walk,” the former Real Madrid coach told Corriere dello Sport.
Scariolo believes it is too early to compare the new project with established organizations such as Olimpia Milano and Virtus Bologna. His goal will be to help build the club’s structure while offering his experience to Alessandro Magro and the coaching staff.
“I will watch some games from a distance, but I will give the coach my opinion, share my thoughts and offer advice,” Scariolo added, clarifying that his coaching career is not over.
