The head coach of Serbia NT, Svetislav Pesic, reported minor injuries for Smailagic, Micic, and Trifunovic
After the last two friendly games, won against Bosnia and Poland, Serbia is training under the guidance of coach Pesic.
In an interview reported by BasketNews, Pesic spoke about how the team’s preparation is going, also mentioning some minor physical issues. The former Barcelona coach stated that Micic, Smailagic, and Trifunovic have suffered minor injuries.
At the moment, none of the three situations is cause for concern — and indeed, none of them has left the Serbian training camp.
Medical tests confirmed the ankle injury sustained in the EuroLeague opener will require several weeks on the sidelines.
