Sebastian Herrera, following a triumphant season in Bonn culminating in winning the Basketball Champions League, has joined Paris Basketball. The 25-year-old Chilean guard has committed to the club until June 2025. Bringing with him the experience gained in Germany, Herrera has an exceptional shooting skill. Standing at 1.93m and donning the number 7 jersey, he is an essential part of Paris Basketball’s blueprint for a new cycle.
In 2020, Herrera joined another Basketball Bundesliga club, EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Although his numbers were slightly less impressive, his potential and profile caught the eye of coach Tuomas Iisalo, who was then with Bonn. Under the Finnish coach, Herrera regained his form and impact, especially last season. His individual statistics include an average of 9.6 points, 2 rebounds, 41% field goal shooting, including 39% from 3-point range, and a 78% free throw success rate. In terms of team achievements, there was a European title in the Champions League and a Bundesliga playoff final.
