Scottie Wilbekin is the MVP of the first round of Turkish Airlines Euroleague.
The Maccabi star matched his career-high in carrying his team back from a 9-point deficit in the final 6 minutes against Bayern Munich.
The former Florida playmaker scored 28 points with 3 assists and 3 steals in 29 minutes, shooting 8/13 from the field and 8/8 from the free throws line.
“It feels great. I really didn’t want to lose the first game – with all the fans being here and the great start we had, probably because of the fans. I’m just happy we were able to pull through and get the win.”
