Science City Jena have announced the signing of Christian Skladanowski from Fitness First Würzburg Baskets. The 2004-born power forward moves to Jena for one season with a return option.
The 2.01-meter forward adds depth while captain Robin Christen is sidelined for several weeks. Skladanowski started all 40 of his appearances for Würzburg last season, averaging 4.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in approximately 16 minutes.
“I want to take on more responsibility and help the team enjoy a successful season,” Skladanowski said. Head coach Steven Esterkamp added: “Chris will help us and strengthen our roster at the four position.”
