Virtus Bologna head coach Sasha Djordjevic spoke with Stadio about the situation in Italy and entire world with all the sports suspended due to coronavirus.
“We must be inspired by Braveheart. That is the model of leadership, not Napoleon’s one who was staying under the tent ordering his soldiers to attack.
Braveheart says “attack”, and he is in battle with his soldiers” Djordjevic said. “I want to thank my players and staff. We did not have any problem. But when I read about problems with Americans it seems a bullshit to me. For two reasons: why do we have to be different for passport while we are a team? We are Italians, Serbs, Americans and we are a team. There are no differences in the group. For us home is where we work. That’s our place. It is called professionalism”.
