As Monaco recently decided to add Dwayne Bacon to the list of players for BetClic Elite as well, with coach Obradovic among the main sponsors of the choice, given his admiration for the Florida State product.

“I think it would have been such a shame for the French championship not to see someone like Dwayne Bacon. We are talking about one of the most dominant players in Europe in his position. He has such athletic qualities and with all the things he can do on the court, it is sometimes impressive to watch honestly. He has incredible qualities and he is really improving. He can shoot, he knows how to use his body. I haven’t seen anyone able to stop him yet… Bigger matches will come, we’ll see the tactics that will be put in place against him. It’s not obvious to go and help on him since we have very good shooters in all the posistions. In the last two games, we had excellent percentages, perhaps because the opposing teams were scared by the qualities of Mike James or Dwayne Bacon in one-on-one”.
Bacon is averaging 12.2 points and 1.3 steals in 24 minutes per game in Euroleague.
