Sarunas Jasikevicius is officially the new coach of Fenerbahce. It is the third adventure as head coach for the former Lithuanian basketball player after Zalgiris and Barcelona.
Saras arrived in Istanbul in the morning and takes over from Dimitris Itoudis, who was exonerated on Wednesday 13 December. The agreement is until 2026.
Jasikevicius ended his experience in Barcelona in the summer after winning his second national title as head coach of the Catalans.
