Sani Becirovic says Codi Miller-McIntyre will leave KK Cedevita Olimpija

Becirovic: Codi wants to take a step forward in his career, he aims to play at a higher level next season

KK Cedevita Olimpija Sports director Sani Becirovic during an interview with the club website revealed that Codi Miller-McIntyre will not be on the roster for next season.

“Codi’s contract expired after the end of the 2019/20 season. We know that Codi wants to take a step forward in his career, and that he aims to play at a higher level next season. I believe we will follow him in one of the Euroleague teams,  perhaps also in one of the teams that will be fighting for the title of champion in the 7Days EuroCup. Of course, we sincerely thank Codi for everything he did last season with the Cedevita Olimpija jersey. I think he had a great season, and his attitude in all areas has been very good. We wish him good luck for the continuation of his career.”

This year Miller-McIntyre averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assist and 1.3 steals over 36 games between ABA Liga and EuroCup, shooting 48% from the field, 30% from beyond the arc and 78% from the foul line.
