San Pablo Burgos, currently bottom of the ACB at 1-8 alongside Coviran Granada, have made a coaching change.
The club has parted ways with Bruno Savignani and appointed Porfi Fisac to lead the team for the rest of the season.
Savignani took over in July 2024 and delivered a historic Primera FEB campaign: a 32-2 record, undefeated at the Coliseum, winning both the Copa de España and the league, plus direct promotion to Liga Endesa.
He was named AEEB Coach of the Regular Season and had already collected monthly awards in October, January and April.
In May 2025, San Pablo Burgos trusted him with the ACB return, making him the first Brazilian head coach of a Liga Endesa team.
After nine rounds, though, the club announced he will no longer coach the first team, thanking him for his work and stating he will always be part of the Coliseum’s history.
The reins now pass to Porfi Fisac, who brings 14 ACB seasons of experience from stints with Valladolid, Fuenlabrada, Gipuzkoa, Casademont Zaragoza and Gran Canaria.
Fresh off a second spell at Zaragoza, where he became the coach with the most games in club history, Fisac steps in to guide San Pablo Burgos through the 2025/26 Liga Endesa campaign.
