Sacramento Kings decided to release Justin James before his contract became guaranteed, Jason Jones reports.
The former Wyoming swingman spent the last two seasons with the Californian team (3.8 ppg in 2020/21).
James was the No.40 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.
The Kings have released Justin James league sources tell The Athletic. His salary for this coming season would have been guaranteed if he wasn’t cut by today.
