The Sacramento Kings have signed DaQuan Jeffries to a 10-day contract using a hardship exception. He joins from the Stockton Kings, where he averaged 23.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 28 G League games this season.

For Jeffries, it is a return to a familiar organization after previously spending time with Sacramento at the NBA level. Over his career, he has appeared in 111 NBA games, including 25 starts, playing for Sacramento, Houston, Memphis, New York and Charlotte.

The move gives the Kings an immediate reinforcement at a delicate stage of the season, adding physicality and familiarity with the system. For Jeffries, it is another chance to earn minutes and push for a longer stay on an NBA roster.
