Bayern Munich announced the departure of K.C. Rivers.

The guard will continue the season in CBA, sources told Sportando.

Rivers averaged 9 points in the 8 games played with the German team between Euroleague and BBL.

 

Darington Hobson signs with Brazilian club Minas

Former NBA second-round pick Darington Hobson signed a contract with Minas in the Brazilian NBB, sources told Sportando.

Hobson, a veteran wing, most recently played in Iran with Kahne Basketball Khouzestan, averaging around 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists per game over five appearances.

He played in five NBA games with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011-12.

Jeremy Nzeulie returns to Orleans Loiret

Orleans announced the return of Jeremy Nzeulie.

The guard already played in 7 Betclic Elite games with the Orleans jersey at the start of the season (5.8 ppg, 2.1 apg).

Marko Filipovity joins Afyon

Marko Filipovity leaves Obradoiro and moves to Turkey, where he will play for Afyon.

The Hungarian forward in ACB averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11 minutes per game.

Chris Johnson has signed a two-year contract extension with Hapoel Holon, as announced by the Israeli team.

The Dayton product this year is averaging over 14 points and 5 rebounds per game between Winner League and BCL.

Denmon spent 3 seasons in China, most recently at Shanghai Dongfang with over 17 points and 3 assists per game.

BC Igokea announced the transfer of Markel Starks to Fenerbahce.

The point guard will make his Euroleague debut with the team led by coach Djordjevic.

Starks averaged 12.6 points, 6.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game this year in BCL.

Martins Laksa is a new player in the Giessen 46ers, according to Robert Heusel.

The forward left Alba Fehervar, where he was producing over 12 points and 4 rebounds per game.

 

Tristan Vukcevic reportedly signing with KK Partizan

According to Telesport, KK Partizan has reached an agreement with Tristan Vukcevic.

Real Madrid would have agreed to let the big man go without receiving a buy-out.

The eighteen year old big man, 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game between ACB and Euroleague, will sign a multi-year agreement.

News of the Serbian team’s interest in Vukcevic was initially reported by Florian Kourth and Christos Harpidis.

Pierre Jackson to join Afyon

Pierre Jackson signed a lucrative deal with Afyon to help keep them in the league, his agency SLASH Sports informed Sportando.

The Baylor product this year played 3 games in G League with the South Bay Lakers.

Veteran point guard Dustin Ware has signed a contract with Chalons-Reims in the French Betclic Elite, agent Charles Misuraca of SLASH Sports told Sportando.

Ware most recently played for MZT Skopje in North Macedonia, averaging 9.7 points and 6.4 assists in the national league and 16.7 points with 6.9 assists in ABA Liga 2 action.

This is not going to be Ware’s first stint in the France’s top league as he previously played for Boulazac in 2017-18.

Fenerbahce pursuing Jonah Mathews but Anwil is unwilling to let him go

EuroLeague’s Fenerbahce have made a push to buy Jonah Mathews out of his current deal in Poland but Anwil Wloclawek is not willing to let the young guard go at the moment, Sportando has learned.

The Turkish club is active on the market to add a new guard after Nando De Colo went down with an injury.

Mathews, who turns 24 in February, is a top-3 scorer in the Polish league – averaging 18.5 points per game – and he recently went off for a season-high 38 points in a win over BMSlam Stal Ostrow.
