Elijah Mitrou-Long joins Aris B.C.

Elijah Mitrou-Long is a new player of Aris B.C., as announced by the greek team.

The Canadian point guard spent last year between Greece (10.8 PPG, 3 APG with AS Apollon Patras), Bulgaria and Canada.

Mitrou-Long signed a contract until the end of the 2022-23 season.

BC Avtodor Saratov signs Malik Newman, Danilo Nikolic

BC Avtodor Saratov announced the arrivals of Malik Newman and Danilo Nikolic.

Newman signed a contract until the end of the season, while Nikolic has a one-and-a-half month deal with an option to extend until the end of 2022-23.

Last season the Kansas product played 34 games for the Canton Charge in G-League, averaging 18.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 30 minutes.

Nikolic started the season in France with JDA Dijon.

GeVi Napoli, Dimitrios Agravanis part ways

GeVi Napoli and Dimitrios Agravanis have agreed to part ways. The Italian team thanks the player for his great commitment, both professional and personal, to the team during this period, and wishes him the best of luck in his continuing career.

The veteran French guard previously played for Strasbourg from 2013 to 2017.

Lacombe spent the last three years with ASVEL.

The Houston product will replace the injured Tayler Persons.

Robinson Jr is coming from a season in G League with the Austin Spurs (9.7 points and 4.1 assists).

Aaron Harrison leaves KK Cedevita Olimpija

KK Cedevita Olimpija and Forward Aaron Harrison, who joined the Ljubljana team in September, have agreed to mutually terminate the contract.

Aaron Harrison joined the Cedevita Olimpija team after it was announced that Zoran Dragić would be out of the basketball court for a longer time due to a muscle injury he sustained at EuroBasket 2022.

Harrison played in three games in the regional league and averaged just over 14 minutes on the floor per game, scoring 6.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He also played in three games in the 7DAYS EuroCup, scoring 8.0 points, 1.7 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Alex Tyus joins ASVEL

ASVEL announced the arrival of Alex Tyus on a deal until the end of the season.

The experienced big man spent last year in Turkey with Pinar Karsiyaka, where he produced 8.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game between BSL and BCL.

 

Wes Clark returns to Chemnitz NINERS

NINERS Chemnitz announced the return of Wes Clark.

The pointguard began the season in French with CSP Limoges, where he was under contract for six weeks as a substitute for an injured player.

Clark signed a deal until the end of the season.

Johnny O’Bryant signed with the Shanghai Sharks of the CBA, Charles Misuraca of SLASH Sports informed Sportando.
The former NBA forward has played six games in the Philippines with Meralco Bolts averaging 26 points and 14.5 rebounds.

Briante Weber joins Bnei Herzliya

Bnei Herzliya has announced the signing of Briante Weber.

The VCU product will replace the injured Quinton Hooker.

Weber last season played 6 games in BSN with Indios de Mayaguez (10.3 points, 4.1 assists, 3.3 steals).

 

Dwayne Bacon signs two-year deal with Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos announces the signing of Dwayne Bacon (27, 2.01 meters) on a contract till the end of the 2023-2024 season.

Bacon is a basketball player, born on August 30, 1995 in Florida, USA. He played college basketball for the Florida State.

On June 22, 2017, Bacon was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 40th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He was later traded to the Charlotte Hornets on draft night.

He signed for the 2017-18 season by Charlotte Hornets and he also played with Greensboro Swarn, G-League. Bacon played there till the 2019-20 championship.

Dwayne Bacon signed for the 2020-21 season by Orlando Magic averaging 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

In October, 2021, he signed with AS Monaco Basket of the French LNB Pro A and Eurolegue (he averaged 14 points and 3.1 rebounds per game).

On September 26, 2022, Bacon signed with the Los Angeles Lakers and he was waived on October 8, 2022.
