The Brooklyn Nets plan to hire Ime Udoka as their next head coach after the firing of Steve Nash, as reported by Shams Charania.
Celtics granted Nets permission to speak with Udoka and will let him leave freely.
Udoka led the Celtics to the NBA Finals last June but he has been suspended the entire season by the Celtics for having for multiple policy violations.
