Openjobmetis Varese reportedly targets Taveion Hollingsworth

Openjobmetis Varese is active on the outside market after the heavy loss suffered in Brescia.

According to italian newspaper Prealpina, the team is considering Taveion Hollingsworth, a 25-year-old combo-guard currently playing for AEK Larnaca in the Cypriot league.

Hollingsworth could leave the club following the elimination from the FIBA Europe Cup and represents an interesting option for Varese, thanks to his ability to jump the man and create advantages.

Olimpia Milano’s purged point guard Kevin Pangos could return to Zalgiris Kaunas. This was reported by basketnews.

According to the Lithuanian site, the negotiations are at an advanced stage. In case of a positive outcome, Pangos would join Zalgiris after the 17th round of the EuroLeague.

The main obstacle would remain Pangos’ current contract with Olimpia Milan. The Canadian guard has an agreement with the red and white club until the end of the 2023-24 season.
