Bandirma’s import players free to leave the team?

Turkish team Bandirma is having some financial difficulties.
The Turkish team is in 7th position in BSL and is also qualified for the Basketball Champions League.
Agents of their imports are putting their clients on the market claiming that Bandirma informed that that they are free to leave due to some economical issues.

Bandirma’s foreigners are Jaime Smith, DJ Shelton (out for the season), Emmanuel Terry, Ian Hummer and Omar Prewitt.

Corey Webster to join Virtus Roma

Corey Webster is signing a contract for the remainder of the season with Virtus Roma, a source told Sportando. The New Zealander shooter has played with New Zealand Breakers and Zhejiang Lions this season before leaving China for coronavirus emergency.
Webster was also followed by Enisey Krasnoyarsk but he decided to pen a deal with the Italian team where he will try to help the club to avoid relegation.

Iraklis B.C. sign A.J. Ogilvy

A.J. Ogilvy signed with Iraklis B.C., as announced by the greek team.
The big man started the year for the Illawarra Hawks, with averages of 8.5 points, 6 rebounds and 1.8 assist per game.

Andre Williamson agrees to deal with Keravnos

Former Appalachian State forward/center Andre Williamson has agreed to a deal with Keravnos in Cyprus, a source told Sportando.

The 30-year-old Williamson played 35 games for Neptunas in the Lithuanian LKL and FIBA Basketball Champions League, averaging seven points and four rebounds in 17.7 minutes of action.

Keravnos is tied with AEK Larnaca for No. 1 in the Cyprus’ top division with 16 wins and two losses.

Corey Webster has not signed with Enisey yet, Virtus Roma is pursuing him

Despite the reports from a New Zealander website, Corey Webster has not signed with Enisey Krasnoyarsk, as of now, a source told Sportando.

The top scorer of the FIBA Basketball World Cup is also pursued by Virtus Roma which is looking for a player to replace Jerome Dyson, a league sourced told Sportando.

Webster has started the season with New Zealand Breakers leaving the team for Chinese team Zhejiang Lions after signing a two-year contract extension with New Zealand Breakers.

His experience in China lasted a few games due to coronavirus that obliged the authorities to block CBA. He is pursued by Enisey Krasnoyarsk but Virtus Roma is seriously pursuing him and is ready to offer him a contract for the remainder of the season.

 

Webster averaged 22.8ppg at the World Cup for New Zealand. He also had 19.

This year the forward out of Saint Joseph’s played 11 games for Delaware in G League, with averages of 6.1 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Rawle Alkins signs with FC Porto

Rawle Alkins signed until the end of the season, the Portuguese team announced.

The former Arizona guard will replace the injured Will Sheehey.

Last year Alkins was a two-way player for the Chicago Bulls. He played 10 NBA games, with averages of 3.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assist.

The veteran big man will replace the injured Greg Smith.

The player arrives from Strasbourg, where he was averaging 4.9 points and 1.5 assist in Jeep Elite.
