DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell returns to Bakken Bears for BCL qualifiers

DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell is returning to the Bakken Bears, the team announced. He signed a one-month deal to help the Bears qualify for the Basketball Champions League regular season.

Akoon-Purcell had a breakout season with the Bears in 2017-18 that parlayed into an NBA two-way deal with the Denver Nuggets for the following campaign.

Gal Gilinski penned a deal with Ironi Nahariya.
The player comes from Ramat Hasharon where he averaged 8.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.

Gregor Hrovat joins Helios Suns

Gregor Hrovat is a new player of Helios Suns, the slovenian team announced.
According to Sportando’s sources, the guard penned an open contract.
Hrovat spent last season in Turkey with Afyon, where he averaged over 12 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assist per game.

Ferdinand Zylka to sign with Giessen 46ers

22-year-old German guard Ferdinand Zylka will sign a deal with Bundesliga club Giessen 46ers, sources told Sportando.

Zylka spent the last two seasons with Syntainics MBC in the Bundesliga and with their affiliate in the Pro B, the BSW Sixers. Last season, he averaged four points in 11.5 minutes with MBC and almost 19 points per game in the Pro B.

Zylka was a member of the German national team at the U16, U18, U19, and U20 levels.

Krka Novo Mesto sign Vasilije Vucetic, Milan Milovanovic

Krka have announed, that their senior squad has been reinforced by Milan Milovanović and Vasilije Vučetić, that will try to help the team to reach the goals, set ahead of this season.
Milan Milovanović became a member of the FMP at the age of 19 and afterwards played for Radnički, Crvena zvezda mts, Vojvodina and Mega Bemax. In 2014 he tested his skills abroad for the first time, by playing for Balkan of Botevgrad. After the season in Bulgaria he returned home to Konstantin Niš. He later played for Phoenix Galati, Prievidza, Borac Čačak, Trefl Sopot, Anwil and Legia Warsaw. Last sason he played for Legia in Polish National Championship and appeared on court 15 times. In 27 minutes spent on court per game he has been averaging 12,4 points and 8,1 rebounds. Milovanović used to be a member of Serbia National Team youth categories.

Vasilije Vučetić used to be playing at Olimpija of Ljubljana since 2011 and played for the senior team between 2013 and 2016 as well. Four yeas ago he moved to Spain to play for Bilbao, which loaned him to the teams Zornotza and raurgi. He also played for Melilla and has been a member of Penas Huesca since 2019. Last season he appeared in 24 games in the 2nd tier basketball league in Spain, averaging 26 minutes, 14 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Vučetić himself used to play for the Serbia national team youth categories as well. In 2012 he won the European bronze in Lithuania and Latvia with the U16 Serbia National Team. Two years later he won the Silver with Serbia.

As he signed with Krka, Milovanović stated: “In my career I played on the road in Novo mesto twice while playing in the ABA League. Once I arrived with Crvena zvezda mts, the second time with Mega Bemax. All former players have only words of praise for Krka. Without any doubts I have accepted the offer of the Novo mesto squad and came here in order to be able to prove myself again in the ABA League.”

Vučetić added: “I am extremely happy to get an opportunity to play in the ABA League again, by signing with Krka. I am looking forward to returning to Slovenia. I wish to warrant the trust of my new side.”

Novica Velickovic signs new contract with Partizan

Novica Velickovic signed a new one-year contract with Partizan, the serbian team announced.
The record holder for appearances in the Partizan jersey will lead the black and whites as captain in the 2020/21 season.

Last year the veteran forward averaged 7.9 points and 4.2 rebounds in Eurocup.

Ashley Hamilton joins Plymouth Raiders

Great Britain International, former NBA Draftee and Loyola Marymount graduate Ashley Hamilton is the latest big-name British talent to join Plymouth Raider

In another signing sure to get the fans excited, 6’7“ Forward Hamilton, has played across Europe for almost his entire pro career, most recently in Spain for Coruna and Manresa respectively, until recently lighting up the BBL with London City Royals.

In an MVP display with 25 points in the 2019 BBL Trophy Final win against London Lions, Raiders fans can look forward to watching one of the GB’s brightest home grown stars.

Maccabi Haifa announced the signing of Naor Sharon for the upcoming season.
Last year the guard averaged 7.6 points and 4.3 assists with Kiryat Ata, in the National League.
In the middle of the season, Sharon moved to Valor Reykjavik, in the Icelandic league, where he averaged 13.8 points and 6.9 assists.

Okaro White is a new player of Unics Kazan.
The former NBA forward has played 3 games with the Washington Wizards in 2018-2019 before suffering an injury.
White has played in Europe with Virtus Bologna and Aris Thessaloniki.
